We stand behind the craftsmanship, durability, and structural integrity of our products. This Limited Warranty outlines the coverage, terms, and exclusions applicable to our boat trailers, structural components, and marine accessories.

1. Warranty Coverage & Duration

This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser holding valid proof of purchase and is non-transferable. Coverage begins on the date of original retail delivery.

  • Structural Frame (3-Year Limited Warranty): Covers structural steel or aluminum frame rails, crossmembers, tongue assemblies, and primary structural welds against manufacturing defects, structural cracking, or catastrophic failure during normal operating conditions.

  • Axles & Suspension Assemblies (2-Year Limited Warranty): Covers axle beams, torsion arms, leaf springs, and spindle weldments against defects in materials and workmanship.

  • Components & Accessories (1-Year Limited Warranty): Covers winches, jack stands, hitch couplers, bunk brackets, roller assemblies, bow stops, and brake actuators against functional mechanical failure.

  • Galvanizing & Surface Finishes (1-Year Limited Warranty): Covers hot-dip galvanizing and protective coatings against peeling or flaking resulting from improper surface preparation during manufacturing.

2. Exclusions & Limitations

This Limited Warranty does not cover damages or failures resulting from:

  • Overloading: Operating the trailer in excess of the rated Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or individual axle weight capacities listed on the VIN tag.

  • Lack of Maintenance: Failure to perform routine marine maintenance, including regular fresh water rinses after saltwater immersion, wheel bearing repacking/greasing, and tightening lug nuts.

  • Corrosion & Cosmetic Wear: Surface rust, cosmetic oxidation, or finish degradation caused by exposure to salt water, road salts, acidic boat cleaning chemicals, or environmental contaminants.

  • Wear-and-Tear Items: Normal operational wear on consumable components, including tires, brake pads/shoes, brake rotors/drums, light bulbs, winch straps, bunk carpet, and wheel seals.

  • Unauthorized Modifications: Structural alterations, welding additions, frame drilling, or modifications made without prior written factory approval.

  • Misuse & Accidents: Collisions, jackknifing, off-road usage, curb strikes, immersion in freezing conditions, or improper securing/strapping of the vessel.

3. Warranty Service & Claim Process

If you experience a warrantable defect, follow these steps to file a claim:

  1. Initiate Claim: Contact our Warranty Department at warranty@nextstoptrailers.com or call customer support within 30 days of discovering the issue.

  2. Submit Documentation: Provide your original bill of sale/invoice, VIN number, current mileage/usage estimate, and high-resolution photographs illustrating the defect.

  3. Inspection & Return Authorization: If required, our technical team will issue a Warranty Return Authorization (WRA). Do not ship components back to our facility without prior authorization.

  4. Resolution: At our discretion, we will either:

    • Supply replacement parts to the customer or an authorized service center.

    • Authorize local repair work at a pre-approved marine service rate.

    • Replace the defective component/trailer if repair is technically unfeasible.

4. Limitation of Liability

Our sole liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts as outlined above.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: loss of boat usage, towing or roadside assistance charges, marine storage fees, travel expenses, lost time, rental vehicle costs, or damage to third-party property (including the boat or motor towed on the trailer).
