Warranty Policy

At Next Stop Trailers, we want you to haul with confidence. We stand behind the quality of our inventory and work closely with top manufacturers to ensure your trailer is built for the long haul. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, limitations, and claim procedures for trailers and parts purchased from us.

1. Manufacturer Warranty (New Trailers)

  • Coverage: All brand-new trailers sold by Next Stop Trailers are backed by the original manufacturer’s limited warranty.

  • Terms: Warranty coverage, duration (ranging from 1 year to structural lifetime warranties depending on the manufacturer), and specific inclusions are determined by the respective builder. Warranty documentation and registration details are provided at the time of purchase.

  • Scope: Manufacturer warranties typically cover structural defects in welds, frames, axles, and major component failures resulting from normal, intended use.

2. Used Trailers

  • “As-Is” Sale: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate, signed written agreement at the time of sale, all used trailers are sold “as-is.”

  • Pre-owned units are thoroughly inspected prior to sale, but they do not carry a dealer or manufacturer warranty once they leave the lot.

3. Parts and Accessories

  • Replacement parts and accessories sold over-the-counter or online are subject to the individual manufacturer’s warranty policies (such as components for brakes, hubs, lights, and tires). Please retain your original receipt for any parts claims.

4. What Is NOT Covered

To ensure safety and fair usage, warranties do not cover damage or failure resulting from:

  • Overloading: Exceeding the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or improper weight distribution of cargo.

  • Misuse & Abuse: Reckless driving, potholes, impact collisions, off-roading beyond the trailer’s design limits, or lack of routine maintenance (e.g., failing to grease bearings or maintain correct tire pressure).

  • Unauthorized Modifications: Alterations, welding, or structural changes performed by any shop or individual not authorized by the manufacturer.

  • Normal Wear & Items: Routine maintenance items and natural wear and tear, including tires, brake pads, bulbs, faded paint, minor cosmetic scratches, and wood decking weathering.

  • Commercial Neglect: Failure to perform required post-break-in service (such as initial bolt and axle torque checks within the first few hundred miles).

5. How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your trailer has a verified manufacturing defect covered under warranty, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us First: Reach out to our team with your original purchase invoice, VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), and a detailed description of the issue.

  2. Provide Documentation: Submit clear photographs and/or videos illustrating the defect.

  3. Inspection & Authorization: We will coordinate with the manufacturer to review the claim. Approved warranty repairs must be performed by Next Stop Trailers or an authorized service facility designated by the manufacturer.

Note: Customers are responsible for transporting the trailer to and from our service facility or authorized repair center for warranty evaluations and work.
